The Drag Mag clutch system is designed for high horsepower & high RPM Sport Compact applications. Available for some Mazda,Toyota and Mitsubishi applications, this multi-disc clutch system can handle the horsepower of your giant killer engine! These clutch systems feature diaphragm style pressure plates to maintain a low pedal pressure with excellent holding capacity. Twin sintered iron friction plates will provide the holding capacity at high RPM along with desirable launch characteristics. The steel flywheels included with these kits DO NOT include a ring gear, however the flywheel is machined to accept the OEM ring gear. Due to the pin drive on the floater and pressure ring these multi disc clutches are not suitable for street applications as they will be very noisy at idle and low RPM.
